Milongas are social dances where tango is danced. There are a number of milongas that are run around Canberra. A good way to find out what milongas are on is to follow the Argentine tango dancers in Canberra Facebook group, where organisers typically post updates.
El Boliche
El Boliche is run every Monday (except public holidays),7.30-10.30pm at the Polish White Eagle Club, O'Connor, by Yuko and Gary. They aim to create a cosy evening of gorgeous dance and music focusing on the “Golden Age” of tango. El Boliche is presented in association with TSCC. Entry is $12 for dancers and non-dancers are free.

The Tango Social Club of Canberra (TSCC) usually holds a monthly milonga on the third Saturday of each month. Everyone is welcome, whether you are member, new to tango or visiting Canberra. Entry is $15 for members / $20 for non-members.
