The Tango Social Club of Canberra (TSCC) encourages people to dance, learn and enjoy tango socially across Canberra, and to more broadly share and promote tango in Canberra too. The Club is run by its members on a volunteer basis. It was established on 15 April 2000 with 15 members and a mission to promote tango in Canberra. TSCC is a non-profit association incorporated in the ACT (A04223). Our Australian Business Number (ABN) is 34 778 985 483​.

The committee comprises members who volunteer their time to help out. They are voted in by TSCC members at the Club's Annual General Meeting. Committee members elected to the committee in 2025 were: Sascha McCann (resigned), John Ashcroft, Amalia Milman and Magda Mayer.

The committee meets at their discretion. Club members can contact the committee with any Club related enquiries or ideas, and to volunteer to help.
Volunteers and volunteer coordinators
The Club is run by volunteers, their help is essential and hugely appreciated. Lots of members help out with all sorts of Club activities and we encourage volunteering from everyone to help make the Club what members want. A number of people have stepped up to volunteer in key areas:

Contact the committee if you would like to volunteer, or can help out in anyway. Volunteers are needed for everything from door duty at milongas, major event coordination, hosting practicas to DJing, or bring your own skills and ideas to make what we do better and make a suggestion to help out.
